Oldest Furnace Contest
Enter for a chance to win a FREE furnace when you submit an entry to the DK Heating & Sons Oldest Furnace Contest.
- Fill out the form below for entry, submissions must include all required fields including a photo and serial number.
- To qualify you must have a forced air gas furnace and it must be your primary source of heat. The unit must be 15 years or older, and you must be able to verify age of unit with the model number.
- You must be a resident of Lake or Ashtabula counties to enter.
- One entry per household.
- Must be an owner-occupied residential home (landlords and tenants will be excluded).
- Must be 21 years of age to enter.

Contest entries must be received by April 31, 2024. The qualifying entry with the oldest furnace will receive a furnace matching like for like with a Trane natural gas furnace / upgrades available at additional cost to be determined at the time of inspection. The value of the giveaway is up to $8000.00.
What’s Included in the Installation:
- Removal and dispose of old equipment
- Supply and Return Transition Ductwork
- Reconnect or install new PVC flue pipe
- Reconnect gas line and replace ball valve and union to current code
- Reconnect 24v and 120v electric to current code
- Reconnect or replace condensate drain
- Thermostat
- New 1” filter system
- Clean and protect work area
- Equipment comes with a 10-year part warranty

City and county code updates cost may not be included.
Oil furnaces and boilers are excluded.
Does not include any additional duct work modifications.
Homes with asbestos or require asbestos abatement, are excluded.
